At the same time as delivering the fundamental pleasure of driving to our customers, Subaru is also taking an advanced approach to tackling environmental issues. We have been increasing efficiency by thoroughly fine-tuning each aspect of performance, including the development of a downsized turbocharger, a hybrid system, and an “eco-driving” device which realizes both driving pleasure and low fuel consumption. We are also actively working to reduce our burden on the environment by saving energy in the areas of production and logistics, and by recycling materials. Subaru is raising the level of automobile production to deliver “Enjoyment and Peace of Mind” to our customers, not just through driving performance and safety, but also through environmental efficiency.
